HostSEO.org: Innovation in Web Hosting to Facilitate Link Building

By Michael Melen
10/17/11 News

There is a shifting trend in the world of online hosting. More and more hosting services are starting to offer much more than simple web hosting in favor of SEO hosting. Therefore, Backlink Build and T35 Hosting have teamed up to bring you HostSEO.org: an innovative new hosting method offering SEO hosting.

With that being said, maybe you’d like to know exactly what SEO hosting is.

To put simply, SEO hosting refers to a unique form of web hosting that makes it easier for a webmaster to carry out SEO operations on his or her main website. HostSEO.org operates on very much the same principle. When you sign up with HostSEO.org, you are assigned unique C-class IP addresses that effectively mask the fact that all your domains are hosted on a single web server to the search engines. This way, we can better conduct SEO campaigns, specifically link building campaigns.

As any SEO company will tell you: link building is crucial to a successful SEO campaign and subsequently, a prominent website. However, if you are linking up your websites together from a single IP address, the search engine spiders are less likely to index the pages to pass on the link juice. This can create a problem, especially if you happen to have a large number of domains in your name and want to link them up. You may have all the relevant content in the world across all of your domains, but their inbound links aren’t as effective when their IP addresses are identical. Hosting them on separate C-class IP addresses allows these different domains to be considered as separate from each other, allowing you to link them up without losing link juice.

The services we offer through HostSEO.org, by providing unique C-class IP addresses at the very affordable price of $13 per month, is specifically designed to help webmasters link up their websites without losing any of the link juice that would’ve otherwise been devalued by search engines. On top of the basic multiple C-class IP addresses offered, we also offer dedicated SEO server services for those who have large numbers of domains and/or don’t want to share resources with additional users.

Finally, the various HostSEO reviews have already proven our service to be of the highest quality with 97% Excellent rating from ReviewGurus.com and 5/5 star ratings across various other review websites. Both T35 Hosting and Backlink Build have thrown our expertise behind this product to bring you the best combination of Web Hosting and SEO services. Combining the unique C-class IP addresses of HostSEO.org alongside a powerful link building package such as a professional Blog Network will ensure that all of your individual domains rank as high as possible on search engine result pages. Link those up and you’ll be the dominant force in whatever niche you may be pursuing.

Yahoo SiteExplorer to Shut Down

By Michael Melen
07/12/11 News

Yahoo recently announced that they will be shutting down Yahoo Site Explorer in order to consolidate services with Bing and their webmaster portal. Although the date is to be determined, the property will shut down once organic results are transitioned to Bing.

Bing Webmaster CentralYahoo Site Explorer is a tool used by anyone who does SEO, including hundreds of programs that use it’s results to generate backlink and competition reports. Yahoo has been slowly transitioning its search properties to Microsoft’s Bing in a move to compete with Google. As such, Yahoo plans to shut down it’s Site Explorer service “once organic results are transitioned to Bing in all the markets” and make “Microsoft’s Webmaster Tools [to] be the source for Bing and Yahoo! webmaster site and analytics data.”.

I checked out Bing Webmaster Central and nope… they don’t have a feature that does allows you to check competitor backlinks. They do have the option to display links for your sites (with anchors) and give you a pretty chart.. but Google Webmaster Tools does the same thing. Hopefully, with enough requests from webmasters, they’ll add the tool at a later time.

So, what are our other options?

The vast majority of backlink checkers use Site Explorer as their source for backlinks. The only one that has it’s own spider engine and database is Open Site Explorer from SEOMoz. The bad news is that it isn’t free (well, you get 20 results with a free search, which doesn’t help much). The paid version of the service is $99/month and I wouldn’t be surprised if the price went up after the closing of it’s biggest free competitor and the dozens that scrape it.
